The Provost serves as a member of the President’s leadership and as the Chief Academic Officer for the institution with comprehensive responsibilities for the success of students in achieving their goals. The office engages in strategic academic planning, directing the growth of academic and student affairs programs, developing academic policy, the fiscal management for the academic programs, and advocates for faculty student rights and responsibilities. The Provost also provides academic and administrative leadership to achieve high standards of excellence in instruction and student services as well as fostering collaboration with faculty, staff, students, and external communities to promote student success through research, best practices, evaluation, continuous improvement, and governance.
