How to sign clinical list changes on a previous visit – How to

When a document has unsigned clinical list changes you will be unable to add problems, medications, allergies, directives or orders to that chart. Please follow the steps below to proceed with your current visit.

  1. Locate the document with the blue lock next to it.
  2. Double-click the document to open it.
  3. Click End Update.
  4. Make sure that the Sign clinical list changes checkbox is selected. If it is not, select it by clicking on the checkbox.
  5. Click Hold Document. Once you sign the clinical list changes the blue lock will disappear.
  6. Open your current visit. When you attempt to make a clinical list change you will be prompted with the message below:
  7. Click OK. You can now add clinical list changes to your visit and the chart.

EMR Announcements

There is currently 1 EMR Announcements:
  1. You can now report EMR issues by sending a flag to EMR, Department inside Centricity EMR. Remember to use the button if you are unable to find us in your user list.
  2. When calling the EMR department, please contact us while you are at the computer experiencing the problem – we may need to gather extra information from the system or account- and have the following information ready:
    1. Any specific error message the computer may be giving you.
    2. Good contact information for you or anyone else that may be able to answer our questions about the problem.
  3. We know that technical problems can be incredibly frustrating and will work to help you as quickly and easily as possible. To help us provide optimal service, please be prepared and willing to answer questions or follow troubleshooting steps. We appreciate your patience!
