Internal Medicine Reference Documents – Announcement

Internal Medicine is now live with Centricity EMR. The Majority of the EMR department will be assisting the clinic during the next couple of weeks. If you need any assistance someone will still be available to answer and troubleshoot issues over the phone.
 
For everyone documenting from Internal Medicine, we have put together several step-by-step instructions and workflows to use as reference.

Documenting and Routing for Residents � Tip of the Week

When placing an order please remember to change the Authorizing provider from the orders detail tab if you are a resident. Orders include referrals, imaging tests, labs and fee ticket items.

If you are in the continuity clinic:

Once you are done documenting make sure to sign and route the visit to your attending physician and select signature as reason. If you do not route and select signature as the reason you will be unable to sign the document.

If you are in a specialty clinic:

Route the document to your assigned Faculty and place the document on hold.

EMR Known Issues

There are currently 0 EMR Known Issues:
  1. If you are unable to print to a printer from multiple computers, it is possible the printer is offline. Try turning the printer off and back on to resolve this issue and notify us as soon as possible.
  2. Please make sure you report any issues that impact EMR as we cannot solve issues we are unaware of.
As always we are working to resolve these issues in a timely fashion and will keep you updated on their status.
