FAQ

  1. When can I use the center?

    The center is available to students during their Medical Skills Course, unless other arrangements have been made with the ATACS Staff and Course Directors. For other Texas Tech and non-Texas Tech customers, sessions must be scheduled and are not available on a walk-in basis.

  2. How do I resquest a tour?

    Please refer to the Services page and click the Tour Request Form link.

  3. How do I become a Standardized Patient?

    Standardized Patients are part-time TTUHSC employees and must follow the same hiring process as other employees. Please check the HR website for job openings.

  4. How do I donate to the Center?

    Please refer to the Make a Gift page.

  5. Is there a cost associated in using the Center?

    The Center is available free of charge to our medical students for scheduled curricular activities throughout the ATACS Center. For all other customers please refer to the Fee Schedule on the Services page. Discounts may be available for multiple sessions or long-term contracts.

  6. I need to take my Step 2 CS Exam, can I practice at the Center?

    Yes. We can schedule you in during our Medical Skills Course for a nominal fee, please contact Hector Aranda or Claudia Cortez for more information.
