Armando Meza, M.D.
Associate Academic Dean for Graduate Medical Education
Dr. Armando Meza is an Associate Professor of Medicine, Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education and Chief of Infectious Diseases. Dr Meza underwent his Internal Medicine residency here at this institution and subsequently his Infectious Diseases training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr Meza has developed a career in academic medicine and from 2002 to 2009 was the Internal Medicine Program Director. His current focus is on the proper oversight of residency training programs and the development of subspecialty training in the context of a new medical school.

The President of TTUHSC reports to the Chancellor, who is the Chief Executive Officer of the System. The Chancellor and the President are responsible to the Texas Tech University Board of Regents, which sets overall policy for the Texas Tech University System, Texas Tech University, and TTUHSC.
