Surgery Residency Programs
While resident physicians are responsible for patient care, the degree of resident involvement increases throughout each program year. During the chief year, residents reinforce their expertise as they assist in teaching and supervising medical students and junior-level residents.
Surgery Research and Publications
The objective of research is to prepare residents to evaluate literature, which requires a certain amount of discipline, a regular reading schedule and some information that has not been covered in medical school.
Emily Rogers Delmas, MD is part of the Surgery team for Assistant Professor and Associate Trauma Medical Director. She is Board Certified in General Surgery and board eligible in Surgical Critical Care.
Congratulations Dr. Rogers on your recent publication in the Journal of Trauma Acute Care Surgery.
