Considered Europe's main source for DNA and RNA sequences, sourced from individual researchers, genome sequencing projects, and patent applications.

Entrez Genome

A database providing an assortment of genomes, complete chromosomes, sequence maps and contigs, and integrated genetic and physical maps. Entrez Genome is conveniently organized into six major organism groups: Bacteria, Viruses, Viroids, Plasmids, Archaea, and Eukaryotae.

Entrez Nucleotide

Brings together sequences for GenBank, RefSeq, and PDB.

Entrez PopSet

A collection of DNA sequences with the purpose of analyzing the evolutionary relatedness of a population, whether the population is of the same species or not.

Entrez Protein

A compilation of proteins sourced from SwissProt, PIT, PRF, PDB, GenBank, RefSeq, and more.

Entrez Structure

Offers the Molecular Modelling Database (MMDB) which contains over 40,000 structures, including links to NCBI database information. Some structures are offered in a 3D format.

Entrez Taxonomy

A database containing all organisms that are listed in the genetic database with at least one protein or nucleotide listed.

Entrez, Life Sciences Search Engine
