Random factoid: I try to take a cooking class (and even better, go wine tasting) wherever I travel.
Plans after residency: EM in northern New Mexico, wilderness, food, travel and the adventures in between.

Favorite thing about El Paso: The people here are so friendly and welcoming. I also love the weather. No humidity! Love the mountains as well. 
Hobbies/Interests: Going to concerts, whether it’s symphony, hip-hop, latin or heavy metal. Singing, recording music, antique shopping, Dallas Cowboys, and spending time with friends and family. 
Random factoid: I have more than 80 first cousins. Can I name them all? Nope.

Favorite thing about El Paso: The convergence of Texan, Mexican, and West Coast culture, people and food, as well as the small-town friendliness despite the large metro area.

Random factoid: I once piloted an airplane halfway across the country.
Plans after residency: To work half of each year in El Paso, and the rest in disaster zones or severe physician-shortage areas abroad.

Random factoid: First job: I did online surveys as a teenager to make extra cash para mi familia during the recession. Made around $200 per month.
Plans after residency: Travel, live life, work and pursue academic interests/fellowships.
