Faculty Affairs & Development


The Office of Faculty Affairs and Faculty Development oversees the policies and procedures and the implementation of services related to faculty recruitment, faculty credentialing, faculty appointment, faculty orientation, tenure and promotion, comprehensive performance evaluation, faculty retention, mentoring and career development for the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine. This office also advises faculty members at all career stages, department chairs, and administrative officers on policies regarding faculty recruitment, compensation, leaves of absence, counseling, grievance and appeal procedures. This office conducts and maintains the institutional comprehensive faculty development program, assists and monitors the implementation of departmental faculty development activities. The Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Development serves as the liaison to the Faculty Council, the Dean Council, and the Academic Council.
