The Cancer Clinical Research Core (CCRC) facility falls under the Department of Internal
Medicine’s Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine
(PLFSOM). We are committed to excellence in patient care, multidisciplinary teamwork,
and community collaboration in our research.
The CCRC's mission is to provide cancer patients in El Paso with access to potentially
groundbreaking clinical trials and research in a state-of-the-art cancer care center,
here at home.

Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas
The Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) has helped develop a
clinical research program focused on clinical studies related to cancer treatment,
early diagnosis, and prevention.
