Department of Internal Medicine

The Department of Internal Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso currently has ACGME accredited fellowship programs in cardiovascular disease, gastroenterology, and nephrology. The fellowships are participants in the NRMP Medical Specialties matching program. Please submit applications via ERAS.

Qualified applicants must pass the USMLE Step 3 prior to application submission, and complete an ACGME accredited internal medicine residency program prior to the fellowship start date.

The division of hematology-oncology is part of the department of internal medicine at the TTUHSC El Paso Paul L. Foster School of Medicine, and the University Medical Center (UMC) of El Paso. The program is urban based and is focused on the prevention, treatment and cure of cancer.
