Child and Adolescent Fellowship
The division of child and adolescents Psychiatry's primary objective is to provide complete training with an adequate balance between didactics, clinical experience, and research opportunities.
The child and adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at TTUHSC El Paso is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
The two year fellowship emphasizes cultural awareness and on multidisciplinary practice. The faculty members are devoted to provide careful supervision and to promote the emotional well being of our fellows.
Our program offers rotations in the most important areas of child Psychiatry including inpatient care, outpatient clinics, consult-liaison, school consultation, service to community agencies, neuro-developmental and pediatric neurology clinics, forensic, research, and treatment of child trauma.
We carefully integrate biological, psychological, and social aspects of the child's psychiatric illness to deliver a comprehensive treatment plan.
