Application Requirements and Deadlines

The Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing (GGHSON) Bachelor of Science in Nursing application process requires completion of two applications:

  1. The Nursing Centralized Application Service (NursingCAS) application – Follow the NursingCAS Application Portal link to complete the application. A $50 application fee is required.
  2. GGHSON Supplemental Application  - Upon submission of the NursingCAS application, applicants must complete the GGHSON admission application.  A $75 application fee is required.  

Upon acceptance, students are required to pay a $150 placement fee. Instructions on payment are included in the offer letter.

Please note that all application and placement fees are non-refundable and it is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure the correct program and campus is selected.

To help you enter your grades correctly, please have your transcripts available to enter all your prerequisite and nursing courses in the GPA calculation module. These grades will be audited for accuracy by admissions staff after you have submitted.

It is the responsibility of the applicant to make sure that both the NCAS and the supplemental applications are complete and submitted by the application deadline.

If both applications are not completed and submitted by the deadline, the application will not be reviewed.

Financial Aid

Applicants interested in applying for financial aid (student loans, grants, scholarships) upon admittance to the GGHSON must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov. The GGHSON requires a FAFSA on file to be eligible for scholarships offered by the school.
