- The purpose of the Community Service Committee is to organize, schedule, and publicize service activities for members of the TTUHSC El Paso Staff Senate and students of TTUHSC El Paso. Each senate member will have many opportunities to serve the community through activities organized by this committee and must complete 6 hours per term. Informing fellow students of upcoming service events is also an objective for this committee. Community service is an aspect that the entire campus can be involved with and a major goal is to include everyone in giving back to our society.

- The Operations Committee is a committee chaired by the Vice President for Operations. They are responsible for promoting elections of senators from each school to fill the positions outlined in the by-laws. Senators from first year classes are elected at the beginning of the fall semester of that year in session. Toward the end of the spring semester, senators are elected for the next senate session. In addition, this committee is responsible for electing teacher of the year, keeping the SGA up to date, maintaining the SGA calendar, debate any changes made to the SGA constitution, handling all complaints, and working with student services for the approval of any SGA logo and design before use.

Finance and Scholarships
- The Finance and Scholarships Committee is a committee chaired by the Vice President for Finance and is composed of senators representing each school of TTUHSC El Paso. The committee's duty is to present a recommendation to the senate regarding the dispersal of special projects funding. The committee carefully researches and reviews these requests in an attempt to make the most fair and unbiased recommendations. In addition, the committee is responsible for the coordination of fund-raising efforts, with the assistance of the Alumni Office and/or Student Services, for the HSC Scholarship funds. They shall determine the recipients of the HSC SGA Student scholarships.

Social and Public Relations
- The Social and Public Relations Committee is a committee chaired by the Vice President for Communications and is composed of senators representing each school of the Health Sciences Center. They are responsible for coordinating and publicizing the social functions of the Student Senate. They are also responsible for publicizing senate news on Tech View, maintaining relations with Tech Talk, and informing other media about functions as appropriate. Lastly, this committee is responsible for notifying all senators prior to each senate meeting or other special event as directed by the senate president. This committee shall be composed of one senator from each school and be chaired from within the senate.
