Dear colleagues,

It has been approximately six years since we introduced our electronic medical records (EMR) system, GE Centricity, to our campus. The journey has not been without its bumps, as we continue to use the EMR system and other technologies to optimize patient care.

An important part of any journey, I believe, is having the ability to take stock of where one is from time to time, and use that insight to improve the experience for providers and patients going forward.  I would like to ask each of you to take a few minutes to give your candid feedback about your EMR experiences today by visiting https://www.research.net/r/TexasTechHSC.

Understanding your experience is critical for us to optimize our systems to better meet your needs.

This survey is being administered by KLAS Research, which we have partnered with to become a founding member of the KLAS EMR Improvement Collaborative — a national effort to benchmark physicians’ EMR experiences. This allows your feedback to have national relevance as well.

Thanks in advance for your time and feedback.
