Faculty/Staff Flu Vaccine Survey

As a health sciences center, the health of our campus community is one of TTUHSC El Paso’s top priorities. In an effort to minimize the spread of the seasonal flu and keep our faculty, staff, and students healthy through the flu season, the Department of Occupational Health has created a survey to help improve the administration of the flu vaccine to our faculty and staff. Did you know?

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), even healthy people can get very sick from the flu and spread it to others. The CDC estimates that flu-related hospitalizations since 2010 ranged from 140-710,000, with flu-related deaths estimated at anywhere from 12-56,000. An annual seasonal flu vaccine is the best way to reduce your risk of getting sick and prevent the spread of the flu to others.
