Medication Search is Back!

The medication search by in EMR is working again! Medications can be searched by Brand Name, Generic Name, and Keyword.

Using Your Tap-Card and Changing Clinical Locations

Issue:

Users using Imprivata to log into clinics are expieriencing printer issues when moving from clinic to another, or from one Pod / Nursing Station to another. Printers from previous Clinic / Pod follow user to next Clinic / Pod causing Documents to print in wrong location.

Solution:

To resolve this issue, users should correctly log out of EMR through Imprivata when moving to another Clinic Pod using the following steps:

  • Click on “Exit”

  • Click the ”Exit Button”

  • Tap out of Imprivata.

  • User can now log into different Clinic / Pod using Imprivata / Tap card.

  • After the Desktop loads, double click on EMR Zero:

  • Correct Printers will now show in EMR.

EMR Announcements

    • We’ve been working diligently to correct the issue of labs not showing in flow sheets. We are correcting different labs each week and this week we have corrected the following:
    • a. INSULIN2HOUR, HGH, PCC LAB 2, PCC LAB 3, PCC LAB 4, PCC LAB 5, PCC LAB 6, THYRORECPAB

      b. Please report any issues regarding these particular labs not crossing over from the report to your flowsheet.

    • Please dial 215-4020 to reach us.

    • To request to file an EMR document in error please send an e-mail to elpasoemr@ttuhsc.edu. Please do not send alerts or flags for this type of request.

EMR Known Issues

There are 2 EMR Known Issues:
    • Rotating residents do not have access to printers or computers in clinic.
      • Clinic must notify EMR department of any residents rotating through their clinic in order for them to be granted access.
    • Please report any lab values not showing in flowsheets after signing the lab report to the EMR, Labs proxy box in EMR.
