How to identify a connection issue – FAQ

If you encounter the screen below you are unable to reach our Citrix servers to connect to EMR.


The majority of the time this indicates you have a problem connecting to the TTUHSC network. If this happens you can confirm the connection issue by looking at the computer & cord icon at the lower right hand side of you screen as seen below.



The red x or exclamation sign confirms that the computer cannot connect to the network. If you encounter this issue please call the helpdesk to have a member of our IT staff identify why you are unable to connect to the internet. You can reach the helpdesk at (915) 545-6800.

Document Location of Care � Tip of the Week

Please verify your documents are created in the right location of care. Location of care is important to run accurate document reports.



When creating a document you can change the location of care by selecting a location from the drop down menu.



If the document is still on hold you can change the location of care by following these steps:



  1. Right-click on the document you would like to update.
  2. Select Change Properties.
  3. Change the Location of Care by selecting the correct location from the drop-down list.
  4. Click OK.

EMR Known Issues

There are currently 1 EMR Known Issues:
  1. If you are unable to print to a specific printer from multiple computers, it is possible the printer is offline. Try turning the printer off and back on to resolve this issue and notify us as soon as possible.
  2. Please make sure you report any issues that impact EMR as we cannot solve issues we are unaware of.
As always we are working to resolve these issues in a timely fashion and will keep you updated on their status.
