Patient Education

Patient Education and handouts can now be emailed to patients. Patient Education and handouts can still be printed.

Patients will need to have an email address recorded at registration for this new process to work. You will not be able to add or modify email addresses in EMR, any changes to email addresses will need to be completed through CBIZ before sending education. Click on the Envelope or Email button to generate a PDF file.

A PDF file will be generated and will be saved as a document within the patient’s chart. The education handout can be viewed by opening the attachment under the documents tab. The education must then be attached to a Secure Message to send to a patient.
