The Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Global Health is a multidisciplinary, institution-wide effort to reduce health disparities among underserved and under-represented populations through education, research, service, and development of partnerships and collaborations. The strategic advantage of our office is the ability to value and embrace diversity and global health dimensions on campus, in the El Paso community, and beyond borders.

Our office is responsible for developing, planning, and implementing programs and initiatives that promote awareness and provide education on various issues regarding diversity and global health. Some of the programs include the Annual Cultural Competence Conference, a monthly lecture and film series, programs for students, and administrative support for various committees, councils, and organizations. These programs and initiatives serve as a catalyst for change at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso and beyond.
