This program reviews new approaches to common toxicological problems, poisoning of high morbidity and mortality, and will point out changes in the general management of the poisoned patient. This educational activity is designed for physicians, mid-level providers, nurses and pharmacists working in emergency medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, critical care, and family medicine. It will particularly interest those preparing to take the Certification as a Specialist in Poison Information (CSPI) examination.
