Using TeamViewer – How-to

TeamViewer allows IT to shadow your computer to better assist you in resolving issues.

To access TeamViewer click on the TeamViewer 6 or TeamViewer 6 Host icon on your desktop as shown below:

If the icon is not available on your desktop you can still open Team Viewer by following the instructions below:
  • Click the windows Start button

  • Click All Programs

  • Click the Team Viewer or Team Viewer Host Icon.

  • If still unable to find please check for the icon on the bottom right corner of your screen.

  • If you are still unable to locate TeamViewer please contact the IT helpdesk at 545-6800 to have it installed.

  • Double click icon.
Once open you will see the ID assigned to that computer. Make sure to provide the ID to IT so that we are able to connect to your computer.

Prenatal Medication list & New EMR Handouts � Tip of the Week

There is a new prenatal custom list in EMR that contains all of the prenatal medications available at UMC. Please use the list when possible instead of reference list.


We also have new Handouts available under Patient Education folder.

EMR Announcements

There are currently 4 EMR Announcements:
    • To request to file an EMR document in error please send an e-mail to Please do not send alerts or flags for this type of request.
    • The Internal Medicine - IM, no show proxy box has been removed.
    • The Children’s Hospital interface has been enabled. You will start receiving their reports electronically.
    • The radiology interface with UMC is now enabled you will receive radiology reports directly in EMR.

EMR Known Issues

There are currently 0 EMR Known Issues:
    • If you are new to a clinic and don’t have printers available when using a desktop computer please notify EMR so we can ensure you have the right permissions to access all printers.
As always we are working to resolve these issues in a timely fashion and will keep you updated on their status.
