Strategic Vision

Our vision is to create an interconnected digital health care ecosystem that brings together patient data, clinical systems, and administrative processes in a cohesive manner. By integrating electronic health records, appointment scheduling, and telemedicine capabilities, we aim to improve care coordination, enhance patient engagement, and optimize the patient journey across our multiple outpatient clinics.

Goals

  • Enhancing Patient Experience: Continuously improve patient experience by leveraging IT to reduce waiting times, increase accessibility to medical information, and enhance communication channels between patients and health care providers.
  • Optimized Operational Efficiency: Streamline clinic processes and workflows through the adoption of efficient IT solutions. This includes the automation of administrative tasks, appointment scheduling, and patient check-ins, as well as the integration of medical devices with our EMR systems.
  • Empowering Health Care Professionals: Provide ongoing training and support to health care staff on using IT systems effectively and efficiently. Empower them to leverage technology to enhance patient care and overall clinic productivity.

Ongoing Learning Opportunities

Clinical Information Systems provides learning opportunities for new and current users to improve and sustain learning to enhance knowledge and develop skills for clinical applications used in our clinics. Our team offers onboarding trainings online and in person as well as ongoing refresher training to promote, support and leverage technology resources and tools that will improve and enhance workflow efficiency.

Onboarding trainings enable new users to obtain an overall view of the applications needed to perform their tasks. When a student, resident, faculty, or staff member joins the institution, a supervisor enters a SysAid Ticket request, and our team provides them with access to a training module that is specific to them as the user. Upon viewing our introductory video, the new user will then be scheduled for in-person/Webex training.

Training

Our refresher application trainings are designed to provide users with the tools and resources needed to enhance patient care and overall clinic productivity.
