Susan Watts, Ph.D.
Dr. Watts serves as the associate director, division of research and assistant professor with the Department of Emergency Medicine. She graduated from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey with a Doctor of Philosophy in Ecology and Evolution and the University of Texas at El Paso with a Master of Science in Biology. She has several publications, peer reviewed publications, abstracts and presentations. Dr. Watts has several years of research experience, provides lectures to residents physicians on various topics, and develops and implements collaborative research projects. She has coordinated and facilitated research projects for emergency medicine faculty and residents, as well as performs grant writing and manuscript writing.
