Student Clerkship Program

The neurology clerkship is a four-week required rotation that includes both inpatient and outpatient experiences. The students will have a four-hour didactic every week. On the second Wednesday of each rotation, the students will go to the simulation lab and learn to perform lumbar puncture and fundus exam, as well as a session of cases overview in cerebral angiography. On the third Wednesday of each rotation, a NBME study session will be performed.

Adult Neurology Residency Program

Thank you for your interest in our newly accredited neurology residency program, located in southwest Texas. El Paso, bordered with Mexico, has a unique geographic location, excellent climate, and a highly affordable cost of living. The city also offers year-round activities. Within a short drive from El Paso, one will find lakes for watersports, the Ruidoso Apache Resort for skiing and nearby Southwest cities for the arts.
