Sireesha Y. Reddy, M.D., is a professor in the department of obstetrics and gynecology, with a secondary appointment in pediatrics at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso. She trained at Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons and at the University of Rochester.
Dr. Reddy is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist who joined the faculty as division chief for the general obstetrics and gynecology division and medical director of the Women's Health Practice. Her clinical focus is in the care of pediatric and adolescent gynecology patients understanding that this special young population has unique requirements for physicians who are skilled in the medical evaluation, surgical management, and correction of gynecologic disorders of this age group. Dr. Reddy has lectured and given workshops at national meetings including the North American Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Annual Clinical Meeting. She is a member of the North American Society of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, Society for Adolescent Medicine and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. During the past years, Dr. Reddy has authored and co-authored peer reviewed publications. She has also been awarded several foundation and NIH grants to support her research.

Sanja Plavsic Kupesic, M.D., is a professor of obstetrics and gynecology and radiology in the department of medical education at TTUHSC El Paso. Dr. Kupesic obtained her medical degree in 1987, Master of Science in 1990 and Ph.D. in 1992 from the University of Zagreb in Croatia.
She completed her subspecialty training in endocrine-infertility from the same institution. Dr. Kupesic has published extensively on 3D ultrasound and colored doppler. She is acting secretary of The Fetus as a Patient Society, and has received numerous awards to include the Sir William Liley Medal in 2005.

Kelcy Steffen-Gutierrez, M.D., is an instructor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Arlington. She trained at TTUHSC El Paso Paul L. Foster School of Medicine for her medical doctoral degree. She was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society during her medical student training. She interned in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Las Palmas Del Sol Medical Center and then returned to TTUHSC El Paso for Obstetrics and Gynecology residency. As a resident physician, she received a variety of teaching awards. Her previous research projects have focused on El Paso’s unique border population, focusing on underserved populations and menopausal patients. She enjoys spending time with her family and two German shepherds in her free time.

Abdelrahman Yousif, M.D., is an instructor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
He received his medical degree from Cairo University, in Cairo, Egypt. He completed his residency training at Hurley Medical Center, Michigan State University in Michigan. During residency, he received the academic chief resident award in 2022-2023. His research interests include gynecologic cancers and endometriosis care among the underserved population. He serves as a member of a committee at the Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO) 2022-2023. During residency, he completed a one year clinical research certificate program “Global clinical scholars research training (GCSRT)” at Harvard School of Medicine. In his free time, he likes to play soccer, hike, and travel to explore new cities and cultures.
Gynecologic Oncology

OB/GYN Vice Chair, Division Chief of Gynecology Oncology, Associate Professor
Eugene P. Toy, M.D., is an associate professor with board certification in obstetrics a gynecology, and gynecologic oncology. He has been a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists since 1999. Born in San Francisco, Dr. Toy is a native of California. At an early age, he pursued a professional career in music at the Juilliard School, performing in many venues across the country. He received his medical degree from the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Rochester, and fellowship training in gynecologic oncology at Yale University.
Dr. Toy has received numerous awards for his conduct of teaching, research, and public service. He was one of the first to use robotic surgery in the treatment of gynecologic cancer and continues to proctor other new robotic surgeons as well as train residents in use of this platform. His penchant for basic science research has furthered his study of DNA damage pathways in Gyn cancers, with particular interest in HPV and influence of the microbiome. He has spoken both nationally and internationally on the latest in Gyn cancer therapies. His work in the Rochester community was recognized by Gilda’s Club, having raised thousands of dollars for cancer support with his piano playing. He brings this 25-year experience back to El Paso to be closer to family as well as further advance his academic pursuits.

Dr. Greenberg received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University in New York and his medical degree from State University of New York School of Medicine.
Dr. Greenberg is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and gynecologic oncology. Dr. Greenberg received the "Friends of Women's Health" Award, the TTUHSC "Dedication to Resident Education and Patient Care" Award, Armed Forces District Chairman's Award for Best Clinical Research Paper, American Cancer Society Clinical Fellow and the New York State Regents Scholarship and Scholar Incentive Award. Dr. Greenberg is involved in the management of gynecology malignancies, complicated pelvic surgeries, teaching, and research.
Female Pelvic Medicine Reconstructive Surgery

Dr. Montoya, a native El Pasoan, is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology as well as in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at El Paso and his medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, followed by residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at TTUHSC El Paso Paul L. Foster School of Medicine. He returned to Dallas to complete a three-year fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He has received multiple teaching and research awards, including the President's Award for Outstanding Research in Gynecologic Surgery from the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons, and a research grant from the American Urogynecologic Society/June Allyson Foundation. He has authored several peer-reviewed publications and has performed research studies on pelvic anatomy, native tissue vaginal reconstructive procedures, and anal sphincter recovery after injury. Areas of interest include transvaginal surgery, vaginal reconstruction for prolapse, urinary and anal incontinence.

Dr. P. Antonio Maldonado is a proud native of El Paso, Texas. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at Yale University and medical doctoral degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW) in Dallas, Texas.
After completing his residency in Obstetrics/Gynecology at Yale New-Haven Hospital, he returned to UTSW in Dallas to complete a 3-year fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. He is board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology. During fellowship, he received various awards for his research and service, including the Society for Gynecologic Surgery (SGS) President's Award for his Fellow Prize Paper, the Pelvic Floor Disorders Research Foundation Fellow Grant, and the Parkland Health and Hospital System Fellow Award of Excellence in Patient Care. His areas of interest and research include surgical anatomy of the pelvic floor, birth-related pelvic floor injury, laparoscopic and transvaginal repair of pelvic organ prolapse, and medical/surgical management of urinary incontinence.
Maternal Fetal Medicine

Assistant Professor, Director of Ultrasound
Dr. Hardy is an international specialist highly trained in treating pregnant women with high risk conditions. He has special interest in fetal medicine particularly as it relates to the fetal brain.
He has trained and worked at prestigious institutions, in academic and telemedicine settings. He’s been providing outstanding patient focused care.
His research focus is quality improvement, rural outreach, and health economics. Which led him to obtain a master’s in economics on London School of Economics. He is hockey fan, so look for him at the Rhinos' games. He will be happy to serve you in English, French and Spanish.
Minimally Invasive Surgery

Assistant Professor
Richard G. Arms, III, M.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Arms is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He received his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Creighton University Affiliated Hospitals in Omaha, NE. Dr. Arms completed a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso and has been serving the local community ever since.
He specializes in laparoscopic surgery for complex pathology, such as large fibroids and endometriosis, as well as operative hysteroscopy. Dr. Arms is also actively involved in teaching laparoscopic skills to new generations of physicians.

Associate Professor
Anjana Nair, M.D., is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She is fellowship trained in minimally invasive gynecology surgery and specializes in performing advanced laparoscopic and robotic gynecology surgeries.
Dr. Nair is very active in research and has multiple grants and has authored many papers in her field.
Dr. Nair attended medical school at Kottayam Medical College in India, and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency in India. She completed her residency training at New York Downtown Hospital in New York City. She then pursued her fellowship training in minimally invasive gynecology surgery at the Carolinas HealthCare System in Charlotte, North Carolina. She subsequently earned the National Certified Menopause Practitioner credential.
Dr. Nair specializes in gynecology care, laparoscopic and robotic surgeries, management of women with chronic pelvic pain and vulvar disorders, menopause management and obstetrics.

Assistant Professor
Mary Ann H. Son, M.D., is an instructor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Son is from New York City. She completed her residency and fellowship training at Maimonides Medical Center, in the heart of Brooklyn. She is fellowship trained in minimally invasive gynecology surgery, during which time she became proficient in robotics surgery. Her particular interests are in complex women’s care, including chronic pelvic pain, abnormal uterine bleeding, infertility, and fibroid management.
Dr. Son is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She has presented at national meetings and continues to pursue research in the field of her interests.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and reading.

Dr. Mulla completed his master’s and Ph.D. degrees in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of South Florida College of Public Health in Tampa.
Dr. Mulla completed his master’s and Ph.D. degrees in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of South Florida College of Public Health in Tampa. Prior to joining the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2006, Dr. Mulla was a faculty member at the El Paso Regional Campus of the University of Texas School of Public Health at Houston (UT-Houston). He has worked over 20 years as an epidemiologist and authored over 95 papers in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Mulla’s honors include the Outstanding Teacher Award from UT-Houston, and the Professional Achievement Award from the University of Arizona Alumni Association in Tucson. Dr. Mulla is certified by the National Board of Public Health Examiners.

Clinical Professor
Luis S. Noble, M. D., graduated with honors from Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey Medical School, Monterrey, Mexico and did his residency at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, TX.
Dr. Noble did a research fellowship in reproductive medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX and a clinical fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and Infertility from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, TX. He is the recipient of numerous national research awards from the Society for Gynecologic Investigation and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine for research in endometriosis. Dr. Noble's areas of interest are endometriosis, reproductive surgery, and assisted reproductive technology.
