Information for Applicants

  • All documents should be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) system.
  • There are no minimum score criteria to apply.
  • Interviews will be extended even though Step 2 CK/Level 2 CE have not been taken.  However a passing score must be received prior to submission of the rank order list.
  • Preference will be given to those candidates who have graduated from medical school within the last 5 years.

Yes with a valid ECFMG certificate and medical school diploma

No. Although Spanish fluency is helpful, there are many bilingual staff and certified medical translators available to assist with translation.

No. The institution requires Step 3 to be completed by mid-PGY-2 year to receive a PGY-3 contract. However, the program recommends the residents have it completed by the end of intern year.

An interview invitation will be received via ERAS scheduler with email on ERAS file.

Yes, but applicants with more than two attempts on any of the three USMLE Steps are discouraged from submitting an application.
