What do you like about the program?
One thing I like about the program is that it aligns with my personal and professional values to provide highest level of care possible to our patients. That it is culturally sensitive and considerate when dealing with everyone regardless of their background. The program offers a wide range of training that continue to help me grow as a professional within the field of psychology.
What do you like about El Paso?
Moving to El Paso from Los Angeles has been an amazing experience. El Paso is a city rich in history and cultural experiences that I enjoy learning about. The people of El Paso are kind and very welcoming which makes me feel like I am a part of the community. I enjoy going out and trying new restaurants and learning as much as I can about the history of El Paso. Furthermore, some of the views that El Paso has to offer are incredible.
Interest/Passion/Career Goals?
I really enjoy working with diverse populations, and El Paso has provided me with an amazing experience in that area. I enjoy helping individuals break through the barriers and stigmas related to mental health. My career goals are to become a Neurorehabilitation psychologist. I would like to continue working in a multidisciplinary health care settings to address issues that impact mental health on all levels. I enjoy spending time with my family traveling, camping, and being outdoors.
