Required Didactics

  1. Noon report (Case-based, clinic pathologic discussions)
    Presented by ward senior, moderated by faculty
    Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at noon

  2. Grand Rounds - Transmountain Interprofessional Grand Educational Rounds (T.I.G.E.R)
    First Tuesday of every month noon - 1 p.m.

  3. Patient Safety Conference / QI meeting / Morbidity and Mortality meeting
    Second Tuesday of every month noon - 1 p.m.

  4. Journal Club
    Fourth Monday of every month noon - 1 p.m.

  5. M & M
    Third Monday of every month  noon - 1 p.m.


Academic Half-Day Structure

Each academic half-day will preferably be spent deep-diving in one major concept/content (e.g. heart failure).

The content of learning will be structured in different modes of delivery and learning techniques.

Noon - 12:30 p.m. Lunch
12:30 - 1:10 p.m. Lecture
1:10 - 1:50 p.m. Workshop 1 (small round table groups)
1:50 - 2:00 p.m. Break
2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Workshop 2
3:00 - 3:10 p.m. Break
3:10 - 3:50 p.m. Jeopardy/Board Review questions/modules.
3:50 - 4:00 p.m. Feedback
