Family and Community Medicine
We have many doctors to handle your health care needs. If you have not already done so, you will be asked to choose a primary care provider (PCP) as the doctor you will see most often for your medical care.
Welcome to the TTUHSC El Paso Family Medicine Residency Program Web Site. This Residency Program has been continuously accredited since 1975 and has matured into an educational experience rich in clinical exposure, bi-cultural emphasis, and leadership in U.S.-Mexico border health clinical and research opportunities.
The mission of the research division of family and community medicine at the TTUHSC El Paso Paul L. Foster School of Medicine is to advance the science of family medicine through the generation of knowledge to improve the health of the predominantly Hispanic U.S.-Mexico Border population that we serve.
