Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.)

Program Description

The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso (TTUHSC El Paso) Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing (GGHSON) Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) program is designed to prepare nurses at a master’s level of education in the area of leadership. This is an innovative hybrid educational program for working nurses to expand their knowledge and competencies required for roles in management and administrative positions in healthcare.

Program Length

The M.S.N. program is designed as a part-time, 39 academic-credit-hours program to be completed in seven consecutive semesters. Students enroll in six credit hours each semester and attend required 2-3 day on-campus intensives over several semesters during the program. On-campus intensives allow students to engage in activities that can best be completed in a face-to-face format with faculty and content experts.

Financial Aid

Applicants interested in applying for financial aid (student loans, grants) must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at http:/www.fafsa.ed.gov. To be eligible for scholarships offered by the GGHSON a completed FAFSA is required to be on file.
