Faxing Prescriptions to Pharmacy

You can now fax prescriptions from EMR directly to a pharmacy. To do so follow the instructions below from the medications or refill module:
  • Enter the medication/refill as you normally would.

  • Select the prescribing method as Fax to Pharmacy:

  • Click Fax RX if it is a refill or Send/Print RX if it is a new med
    Image02 or Image03

  • Verify Pharmacy information is correct

  • Click Fax

  • End Update and Sign Document as you normally would

Printing Document with Append � Tip of the Week

When using the print button Image05a document will not automatically include appends. To print a document with appends you need to print from the full document viewer window as shown below.
  • Select/Highlight the document you would like to print.

  • Click on the Full document viewer button.

  • Once the document viewer opens: check or uncheck the box to print image attachments.

  • Click Print.

EMR Announcements

There are currently 1 EMR Announcements:
    • The specialty clinic in Pediatrics will be going live on August 21st.

    • If a chart is locked and you are unable to add clinical list changes (problems, medications, allergies, orders) please contact the department of the provider responsible for the unsigned document with the blue lock on it. The head nurse, administrator or a provider from the department needs to sign the clinical list changes as soon as possible.!

    • The following quicktext was added:

      .wcc This is a x months/years old male/female patient who presents for Well Child Check. The patient has no additional complains.

EMR Known Issues

There are currently 1 EMR Known Issues:
    • A possible solution for Orders/Prescriptions printing issue has been identified please notify us if you are still unable to print.
    • If you are new to a clinic and don’t have printers available when using a desktop computer please notify EMR so we can ensure you have the right permissions to access all printers.
As always we are working to resolve these issues in a timely fashion and will keep you updated on their status.
